Lawn Care Tips

Watering Tips


For Best Results:


1. Water your lawn in the morning only (before 12:00 PM)


2. Water your lawn with a sprinkler

 (do not water by hand)


3. Water your lawn once per week


4. Each area of your lawn requires approximately 1 inch of water per week (approx 45 min - 60 min) in each section


5. Your lawn requires deep root watering (meaning soaking it once per week) 






Important note:


Your lawn may require more frequent watering during the summer months of June, July & August or during extreme temperatures or heat waves




Mowing Tips 


For Best Results:


1. Mow your lawn in the morning only (before 12:00 PM)


2. Sharpen your mower blade at least once per season (every spring)


3. Mow your lawn once per week


4. Mowing height should be set at 2.5 inches - 3 inches (no shorter)


5. Grass clippings should be left on the lawn


6. Do not remove more than 1/3 of the grass blade each time you mow the lawn 



Important note:


Your lawn may require more frequent mowing during peak growing periods such as the spring & fall seasons
